Sexual exploitation of minors & trafficking exists within our community
Texas consistently ranks in the top 5 states in the US for occurances of human trafficking. It is such a pervasive problem in Bexar Co. that SAPD has a dedicated anti-trafficking unit.
LRSA exists to meet survivors where they are & provides life changing resources to those struggling within the community.
Escaping trafficking is only the beginning & the path to recovery is long. We offer emotional, physical & spiritual healing to youth & their families. As Christians we believe that every life holds value and we trust in the redemptive power of Christ.
We seek to serve those who are so often overlooked, but hold all the potential to unlock a fulfilling life.

LRSA uses a Restorative Collaborative approach to assess a client’s circumstances and evaluate their home life to determine ways we can be of service. We work with local law enforcement, the legal community & non-profit partners to ensure our survivors have as many resources available to them as possible.
Healing is a journey & it happens in community. Our clients are paired with a mentor who will walk alongside them throughout all aspects of their life. Clients also participate in group activities where they form relationships with other survivors.
Our services extend from the survivors to their family members. This affords the entire family unit to grow from the trauma and move forward together. Trauma informed counseling is provided to clients allowing them to obtain the necessary tools to overcome their past.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors (who are affectionately called Traffick Jammers) & our community partners, all services provided by LRSA come at zero cost to the survivors.
